Key Responsibilities:

Strategy:

Maximizes Supply Value for GB Foods to Strengthen Financial and Business Performance of the Business Units.

Defining Sourcing Strategy short-medium and long term based on Category Management and according to business needs.

Monitor WW commodity trends for Market Intelligence.

Supply Map intelligence excellence.

Define Sourcing Map and Market Strategy (local/imports/mix).

Propose and align Procurement coverage together with Business

Anticipate and have resilience to adapt the business strategy to any potential changes (regulatory, import bans, duties, market dynamics, force majeure…. etc.) as Procurement Risk Management to guarantee sustainable and competitive business.

Define Supplier Relationship Management depending on the more strategic or tactical approach.

Establish Governance and Control guaranteeing transparency and procurement execution.

Business Intimacy, bi-directional, for alignment of Procurement Strategy and Business Strategy (VCP) to maximize our business competitiveness.

Be an innovation hunter from the Supply Market.

Manage internal communication related to Strategy with the different stakeholders.

Responsible for categories budgeting and deviations.

Responsible for Material TCO and cost visibility.

Execution:

Build strong Supplier relationships, negotiation and contracting.

Coordinate the internal deployment of the Category Strategy together with the Country Procurement Buyers Team.

Requirements
Technical & Behavorial Competencies
  • Must have at least a degree in economics, engineering, agronomist or any related field with desirable commodities knowledge.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in a similar position ideally in FMGC industry.
  • Possess at least 5 years’ experience in procurement negotiating in Asia and managing imports.
  • Good Procurement negotiating with Procurement Category Management background.
  • Fluency in English.
  • SAP knowledge desirable
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Business and Strategic thinking.
  • Very strong negotiation skills
  • Transformational approach with extensive analytical skills – fact based.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
