BAVI is seeking a highly motivated and practical instructor for the Certificate in Bricklaying and Concrete Practice (BCP) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality instruction in masonry, construction, and related trades to prepare students for the construction industry.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teach and assess students in bricklaying and concrete works per the UVTAB Standards/Modulars
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching tools.
• Conduct hands-on training in construction, plastering, site layout, and concrete mixing.
• Supervise students on construction sites and during school projects.
• Track and report student progress and practical competencies.
• Assist in curriculum development and training material preparation.
• Ensure adherence to safety and construction standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the institution.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• A Diploma or Degree in Building and Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Teaching qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in construction or technical teaching.
• Familiarity with the UVTAB Standards/Modulars is preferred.
