Chief Engineer
Location: Namanve Warehouse (Routine Countrywide Travel)
Reports to: CTO

Job Purpose:
To provide technical leadership and guidance on infrastructure, electrical systems, and electrical stock handling ensuring safety, optimization and alignment with supply chain needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design and oversee implementation and maintenance of engineering projects and electrical systems
Provide technical advice on handling, storage and safety of electrical stock
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to support infrastructure needs
Lead engineering risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures
Ensure compliance with engineering, environmental, and safety standards
Liaise cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and operations

Qualifications & Experience:
BSc in Electrical Engineering (Master’s an added advantage)
Minimum 8 years of engineering leadership, with at least 3 years in supply chain operations
Strong knowledge of electrical systems in a logistics or manufacturing environment
Strong project management, problem solving and leadership skills
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
