Responsible for overall commercial direction and profitability of the Consumer Portfolio with specific focus on;
• Voice, Data & Home Portfolios
• Pricing & Propositions
• Driving Smartphone Growth & Adoption
• Responsible for driving and managing the brand strategy.
• Manage the Customer Value Management (CVM) portfolio for the business
• Overseeing the Business intelligence and commercial planning functions for the business.
• Develop and coordinate the implementation of the company’s marketing strategy
• Design differentiating, innovative and customer-oriented value propositions by customer segment
• Responsible for developing, initiating and following up quantitative & qualitative market research campaigns.
• Develop methods to establish, develop & improve customer interface and consumer product marketing
• Considerably re-enforce MTN Eswatini’s brand positioning and recognition
• Develop and manage tariff plans – to maintain MTN Eswatini’s competitiveness, stimulate product adoption and usage and maximize value
• Develop and manage an innovative product portfolio – coordinating closely with Networks / IT for technical implementation
• Manage the organisations handset strategy and portfolio – in close coordination with Sales & Service
• Identify, design and coordinate the implementation of customer development and retention programs
• Considerably enhance MTN Eswatini’s marketing capabilities – in particular by attracting, retaining and developing a team of strong professionals with deep functional expertise
• Ensure close coordination and optimise cross-functional processes – in particular with Sales & Distribution
• Ensure marketing activities are compliant with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
• Prepares Divisional budget indicators and preside over the execution of the approved budget and its revision where justified
• Communicate the organization’s culture and image to internal and external stakeholders.
