We are looking for a visionary and dynamic chief strategy officer to join our executive team and lead our strategic planning and execution. You will be responsible for developing and communicating our company’s vision and strategy, overseeing strategic initiatives, identifying market opportunities and risks, and fostering strategic partnerships. You will work closely with the CEO, COO, CFO, board of directors, and other senior leaders to align our business objectives with our strategic goals and ensure successful implementation.
To be successful as a chief strategy officer, you should have a strong background in business strategy, leadership, and innovation. You should also have excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. You should be able to think creatively and strategically, anticipate challenges and opportunities, and drive change across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Develop and communicate the company’s vision and strategy in collaboration with the CEO, COO, CFO, board of directors, and other senior leaders
Oversee the strategic planning process and ensure alignment of business objectives with strategic goals Lead strategic initiatives such as M&A, transformation, partnerships, and cost reduction.
Monitor the market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and industry dynamics.
Identify strategic opportunities and risks and provide recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
Foster strategic partnerships with external stakeholders such as investors, customers, suppliers, regulators, and industry associations.
Build a high-performing strategy team and mentor them to achieve excellence.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy execution and report on the progress and outcomes.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in business strategy, consulting, or corporate development; experience in a C-level or senior executive role preferred
