The Child Protection Officer will be responsible for implementation of Child Protection activities with guidance from Program Coordinator. Block roles include Case management and FTR response, working in the conflict affected communities to directly identify and register abducted children and women, negotiate with local authorities, raise awareness and try to seek the best outcomes in a limited and challenging environment.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly
