The role will report to the Climate Justice Manager, and working alongside Goal 2 colleagues (a Sustainable Agriculture Advisor and a Market Systems Development and Engagement Advisor), this role is part of the global Programmes Team of Advisors, alongside portfolios of work on human rights and access to justice (Goal 1) and women’s and girls’ protection, voice and leadership (Goal 3). There will be active collaboration with the global Humanitarian Team and the Policy & Advocacy Team.
The job opportunity will be offered on a 2 year fixed term contact and is based in any Trócaire office in Ireland, UK, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda or Zimbabwe.
Note: Candidate must have existing right to live and work in chosen location
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with significant experience in the areas of Climate, agroecology, natural resource management and inclusive market systems. Someone with a proven track record in securing funding, and the flexibility to work in diverse and challenging contexts. In this role, you’ll lead innovative interventions, drive evidence-based approaches climate resilience, and identify strategic funding opportunities to amplify Trócaire’s impact on climate and environmental justice and sustainable futures.
