The CMAM Officer is responsible for implementation of all CMAM related activities including TSFP, OTP and SC at local level using participatory and community-based approaches. And also expected to provide support the IYCF-E officer in the promotion of optimal feeding behaviours among children and PLWS. The Job holder will provide technical support and guidance to Woreda experts and staff on under-five nutrition. Additionally, will compile progress reports, document activities, and share best practices and lessons learned in the field of livelihoods.
The Indvidual
College Diploma and/or BSC in Health, Nursing and other relevant fields of study
Experience: Minimum of three years of relevant experience
Work experience in Emergency nutrition response in refugee and IDP setting is an asset.
Ability and willingness to work in remote and challenging environments
Extremely flexible, able to work independently, and have the ability to cope with stressful situations and frustrations.
Ability to translate technical information into practical guidance and tools and effectively communicate this using print, electronic, and presentation media.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage a variety of tasks with accuracy
Languages required
Fluency in local language is essential with basic knowledge of English
Knowledge of other local language is desirable
