Job description

A decision support role to assist in improving profitability and enhance competitive advantage by accessing optimum contract rates and commercial terms with clients. Managing the commercial input of proposals, bids and tenders. Ensure full compliance with all company internal processes, procedures and legislation. Ensure accurate and complete compliance of commercial packages for enquires, invitations to tender and contract extensions. Providing analysis of the market and competitors positions to maximise the benefit to the area of responsibility.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

Collate and analyse market and competitor insight information collected

Review, manage, and where necessary propose amendments to existing contract rates, pricing structures and commercial terms

As a decision support role, prepare business cases and analysis to support investment opportunities

Prepare and submit Bid Evaluation Reports for approval as per Company’s DOA policy

Ensure contract and BER register are up to date and reviewed on a monthly basis

Research and report upon the fiscal probity of clients new to Expro

Liaise with Finance and other internal departments as appropriate for area of responsibility

Actively support with internal Salesforce and Order book reporting requirements and internal commercial related audits, as needed.

Assist with commercial input required for bid submissions as necessary

Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest.

Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Takes an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures.

Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the Safety House Rules.

Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

Degree or professional qualification preferable Finance / Accounting or Economic related

Previous experience in a related role

Familiarity with contracts and financial statements/accounting principles highly preferred

Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint software

Minimum 4 years’ experience in a related role
