Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies that align with program objectives.
- Foster partnerships with community leaders, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Lead efforts to reduce stigma and discrimination related to HIV/AIDS in communities.
- Design and facilitate community awareness campaigns on HIV prevention and care.
- Build the capacity of community health workers to deliver effective services.
- Monitor and evaluate community engagement activities and provide feedback for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in social sciences, public health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in community mobilization, preferably in HIV/AIDS programs.
- Strong understanding of cultural dynamics and community structures in Sierra Leone or similar settings.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
