Key Tasks:
- Development of the Analysis Report on TFGBV outlining strategic advocacy frameworks and evidence-based recommendations to support and guide effective advocacy efforts of a diverse Womankind and its partners and grantees, girl-led and women’s rights organizations, feminist movements, policymakers, and all stakeholders. The 35–40-page report will be launched during the sidelines of CSW70.
Deliverables:
Deliverable 1: Deliver an inception meeting
- Develop an inception report outlining the proposed methodology, and a detailed implementation plan to guide the effective execution of the analysis.
- Conduct a literature review of existing Womankind Worldwide documentation, along with publicly available resources and research related to TFGBV.
- Include a Dissemination Plan outlining the strategy for wider knowledge exchange and influencing with peers and colleagues within and beyond the sector.
- Consult Womankind Worldwide focal point for review of draft inception report.
- Deliver an inception meeting to circulate the report with wider Womankind Worldwide colleagues for review and sign-off.
Deliverable 2: Conduct virtual key information interviews and focus group discussions with key Womankind Worldwide Partners in the focus countries.
- Engagements will be planned together with the Womankind Worldwide focal point.
- All interviews should feed into the analysis report representing the voices and contribution to the report and in line with Womankind Worldwide policies around ethical interviewing and consent.
Deliverable 3: Produce a final analysis report
- Develop a template for the final report, outlining key information focus-areas.
- Produce a comprehensive report reviewing, analysing, and assessing the impact of TFGBV on achieving gender equality in accordance with the overarching purpose of the report and the agreed workplan (35-40 pages).
- Development of an advocacy fact sheet derived from the analysis report highlighting key findings and recommendations (1-2 pages).
- First draft produced by Monday 1st December 2025.
- Final draft signed off by Friday 30th January 2026.
Organization & Management:
- The consultant will work closely with the Policy and Advocacy team at Womankind Worldwide.
- The Policy and Advocacy team at Womankind Worldwide will support the consultant in the following:
- Access to all internal reports /contents and data relevant to the assignment. These will include content to be developed and other relevant documents to support the development of the policy brief including: “Breaking the Silence: Ending Online Violence and Abuse Against Women’s Rights Activists”; Disrupting the Continuum of Violence: Combatting Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence.
- Support and assistance to gain access to relevant stakeholders for consultations to the extent possible.
- Orientation with the consultant and outline the parameters of the required services.
- Provide and agree with the Consultant on the revised work schedule, timelines, and deadlines.
- Provide relevant feedback and evaluation of the service provided and outputs submitted.
Required Qualification, Skills, and Competencies:
We are keen to work with a feminist professional with the following qualifications and competencies:
- Knowledgeable in policy and advocacy landscape in relation to violence against women (internationally, regionally, and nationally especially in the focus countries).
- Strong feminist analysis and current knowledge of the latest developments and trends on TFGBV.
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, communication skills (in English).
- Effective time and project management ability.
Duration of Assignment:
The contract will be effective from the date of signing and the delivery of the work is expected to be completed by 30th January 2026. Please refer to the deliverables section for tentative timelines.

- Technical proposal (not more than 3 pages responding to the scope of work outlined in 5 above). The technical proposal should include a work plan outlining how the consultancy days will be utilized.
