The consultant is expected to deliver the following:
- A detailed adaptation strategy
- Revised TEGA Admin Handbook
- Revised TEGA Training Manual
- Additional training materials (if applicable)
- Pilot test report
- Final report summarizing the consultancy and providing recommendations
Who You Are
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Communication, Instructional Design, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in qualitative research and training methodologies.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in developing training materials, educational content, or administrative handbooks, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise in content adaptation, remote learning, and instructional design.
- Strong skills in data analysis and the ability to use insights to inform training content, with experience using data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) to communicate insights effectively.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to develop and manage content creation processes, timelines, and feedback loops.
- A passion for social impact, with a commitment to Girl Effect’s mission of empowering girls and women worldwide.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience in using technology for training and education, including familiarity with e-learning platforms, digital tools, and online collaboration software.
- Experience working with remote teams and understanding the challenges and best practices for remote training, management, and administration.
- Understanding of human-centered design principles and the ability to incorporate these into training materials to ensure they are accessible and relevant to the target audience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to develop and manage content creation processes, timelines, and feedback loops.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating workstreams across multiple geographies and working effectively in multicultural teams with varying expertise, skills, and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, empathy, and the ability to engage with diverse groups, particularly adolescent girls, in a respectful and impactful manner.
