The supply chain transformation project will enhance the WHE emergency response, by improving our demand and planning management, optimize our inventories and inventory and developing the list of standard countermeasure standard in the WHO procurement system.
Deliverables
- Deliverable 1: Develop project implementation and detailed work plan with all stakeholders to ensure timeliness in project completion.
Expected by: 50% by Mid Aug and 50 % mid September - Deliverable 2 : Develop communication and change management methodology and supporting documents.
Expected by: 30-September - Deliverable 3 : Monitor progress of implementation on a bi-weekly basis and monthly provide report to team lead, in each area of work; specifically:
- Planning and demand management
- Stockpile definition and alignment among regional HQ levels.
- Standard list and catalogue development along with Budapest office.
Expected by : Monthly report along project duration
Qualifications, experience, skills and languages
Educational Qualifications:
Essential:
- A first university degree in biomedical engineering, public policy, public health, science, economics, administration or related area.
Desirable:
- Advanced university degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering or public policy.
Experience:
Essential:
- At least five years’ practical experience in coordination or project management.
Desirable:
- Previous experience with WHO, other UN agencies, Emergency Medical Teams, health cluster partners, recognized humanitarian organizations or nongovernmental organizations.
