Target Security Group, a fully integrated multidisciplinary security and facilities management company, is recruiting a Control room Operator.

In this position, you will be responsible for enforcing all company rules, policies, and procedures. You will also conduct proper training and oversight according to contract and company specifications. This position will provide quality service through post inspections and will be responsible for the gathering, documenting, and reporting of all incidents, as well as strengthening communication between security officers, management and client.

Main Responsibilities
Duties and essential functions but not limited to;
•Monitoring and operating the CCTV cameras and associated equipment in the CCTV control room.
•Managing CCTV associated alarm and call-monitoring device.
•Monitoring the safety and security of staff and company property via surveillance of the CCTV network.
•Operating a range of remote call-monitoring alarms and communication facilities contained within the control room.

The Ideal Candidate
•Must possess the Malawi School Certificate of Education.
•Certificate in computing or its equivalent.

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required.
•Must possess at least five years of prior experience on active duty  in a busy reputable security company.

•Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
•Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
•Active listening skills.
•Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
•Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
•Attention to detail.
•Computer skills is a MUST.

Other requirements
•Must be not less than 25 years.
•Must be in possession of valid National ID.
•Possession of a driving license is an added advantage.
