Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and equipment setup.
- Administer the health and safety Programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop, maintain, and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and assessments.
- Coordinate with instructors to ensure they are aware of training schedules, materials, and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, assessment results, and certification.
- Ensure that all training activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, visitors, and employees.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Degree in Health and Safety or equivalent
- Accredited TEVETA Trainer & Assessor
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Health and Safety training role, preferably in the Mining Industry
- Demonstrated analytical and reporting skills
- Good Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Clean Class B or C manual Driver’s licence
