Responsibilities
Scope of Work:
- Reviews and edits draft reports and presentations for Kenya Nawiri.
- This position does not authorize/require the consultant to directly communicate with IBTCI clients.
- This position does not authorize/require the consultant to have decision making authority on final work product.
Serve in the above consultant capacity to support the IBTCI technical practices of Crisis, Conflict & Governance, Agriculture & Food Security & Economic, Education & Growth and Global Health and/or Business Development divisions.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in copy-editing or report writing.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Works well in a team setting and highly organized.
- MS Office Skills required.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, social sciences, humanities, or related field.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with USAID projects and deliverables is preferred;
- Experience with food security, health, nutrition, and/or livelihoods sector is preferred;
- Demonstrable skills in in report writing, editing, formatting, and presentation is essential;
- A high degree of motivation and self-starter qualities is invaluable to the role;
- Demonstrable ability to work independently.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
