The Cost and Monitoring Accountant will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost accounting systems, analysing production costs, and monitoring financial performance to ensure profitability.
Experience:
• 5+ years
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Analyze production costs and prepare cost reports, including cost of goods sold, gross margin analysis, and product profitability.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement, such as cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis of new products and initiatives, and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, and provide input on financial performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders

• Reports to the Finance controller
