Job description

The Creative and Brand Specialist supports brand stewardship and is responsible for ensuring that the product, service, and product lines that fall under their brand resonate with current and potential customers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the Branding Manual.
  • Lead creative strategies for brand positioning.
  • Support the alignment of the Company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics.
  • Conduct consumer and market research and design a research-based brand strategy.
  • Identify how our brand is currently positioned in the market.
  • Supports the development and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at communicating our brand message.
  • Communicate our brand personality internally and align the Company around foundational ideas.
  • Anticipate consumer trends and keep the brand up to date
  • Design and layout of all creative deliverables and other brand IEC products.
  • Create concepts and ideas to communicate the Company’s brand and goals effectively visually.
  • Provides any graphical direction of all information relevant to this position that may enhance the precise appearance of the Company’s branding materials.
  • Provide Copywriting support.

    Educational, Experience and skills required.

  • University Degree in Marketing, Industrial Arts and Design, advertising or a related field. A Professional qualification in Graphics design is an added advantage.
  • Experience in graphic design is a must and proficiency in working with Adobe creative suite or any other design and creative technologies.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • Five or more years of working experience as a professional creative specialist or Agency.
  • Ability to create and innovate content
  • A creative and innovative thinker with good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to Study design briefs, determine requirements, and Conceptualize visuals.
  • Timeliness and responsiveness to designs after feedback
  • Ability to work with deadlines.
  • Experience in and adequate knowledge of photography and videography.
  • An observer of global communications trends.
  • Advanced marketing trends analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of brand promotion.
  • Hand-on experience in the creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development.
  • Ability to lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas.
  • An interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques.
  • Maintaining consistency over the quality and message of the creative output.
