Qualifications
- Completed Matric
- Diploma in Finance and Accounting and Legal
Experience
- 3 – 4 years In-depth knowledge of trust laws, estate planning principles and financial concepts. Experience in trust administration with a Trust Company or firm of attorneys who have a dedicated trust/fiduciary services department. Proven ability to interact with clients, addressing their inquiries, providing guidance and maintaining positive relationships. Proficiency in reviewing legal documents, contracts and regulations relevant to trust administration.
- 1 – 2 years Experience in assessing and mitigating risks associated with trust administration, ensuring the security of trust assets and adherence to regulatory compliance. Familiarity with the trust tax laws including income tax and capital gains tax and the implications is taxed in the trust or distributed to the beneficiaries.
