We seek a skilled and enthusiastic Data Analytics Instructor to join our growing team. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in data analytics, guiding students through practical projects, and helping them develop the skills necessary to excel in data-driven roles. This role involves both instructional delivery and curriculum development to ensure students are well-prepared for careers in data analytics.

Responsibilities:

Instructional Delivery:

Teach comprehensive courses in data analytics, covering topics such as data collection, data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, and data visualization- using Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python Programming. 

Utilize various teaching methods, including lectures, hands-on exercises, and real-world case studies, to ensure student engagement and understanding.

Provide additional support to students through one-on-one tutoring sessions and office hours.

Curriculum Development:

Collaborate with the academic team to create and update course materials that align with industry needs and standards.

Develop practical projects and assignments that allow students to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Continuously assess and refine the curriculum based on feedback and the latest industry trends.

Student Mentorship:

Mentor students on their learning journey, providing guidance on academic challenges and career development.

Assist students in building portfolios that showcase their analytical skills and project work to potential employers.

Offer career advice, including job search strategies, resume building, and interview preparation.

Assessment and Feedback:

Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and class participation.

Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve their analytical skills.

Track student progress and offer additional resources or support as needed.

Community Engagement:

Participate in Blossom Academy’s community events, such as webinars, workshops, and networking sessions.

Engage with the broader data analytics community to stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

At least 3 years of professional experience in data analytics or a related role.

Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring is highly desirable.

Strong ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging way.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in data analytics tools and software, including Excel, SQL, and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data manipulation techniques.

Experience with programming languages commonly used in analytics, such as Python or R.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
