Key Responsibilities:
- Provide vision for the design and direct the development, testing, documentation, and implementation of data management systems for the Community Nutrition.
- Develops data management and data cleaning plans and oversees their implementation.
- Develop and/or revise Data Management SOPs and related documentation for the study.
- Participate in training and mentorship of regional LME officers and M&E officers from partner organizations, to ensure high quality database development, data capture, data processing and documentation.
- Reviews and analyses data discrepancies to identify and report data and trends.
- Provide analysed data to technical staff as per the agreed timelines to facilitate reporting, progress review and remedial actions.
- Monitor performance goals and objectives to ensure quality in the processing of data
- generated from study.
- Establish appropriate project tracking tools/ study dashboard using computer assisted programs and ensure timely entry of project information.
- Develop and ensure adherence to policies that ensure the security and confidentiality of
- sensitive data, including adherence to FHI 360, sponsor/client, relevant national and
- international standards and Open guidance.
- Any other duties and assigned by supervisor.
- Educational Qualification and Experience:Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Statistics, Health Data Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management with public health, epidemiology, demography or Related Field background preferred. Master’s degree or a Related Field.
- Project Management (PM) Certification preferred.
Experience:
- Typically requires 6+ years of relevant experience managing data collection and technical assistance experience.
- Proficiency in database technologies required.
- Prior experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) with USG funded project (USAID, CDC, etc…) preferred.
