A reputable Public Service Organisation invites applications from eligible individuals for the following position: Deputy Director of Procurement

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews the preparation of Annual Procurement Plan
• Reviews the preparation of annual work plan of section
• Reviews the preparation of Bid Documents for goods, works and services
• Attends entity tender committee meetings
• Reviews the preparation of quarterly and annual reports on procurement activities
• Acts as the Chief procurement activities of the Agency are posted on the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) website
• Coaches, mentors and provides on-the-job training to subordinates

Qualification Required & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the required field from a recognised tertiary institution
• A post-graduate qualification in the required field
• A certified member of a professionally recognised body
• A minimum of 7 years of post qualification with relevant work years of which must be at the Senior Management level in the public or private sector
• Be computer literate with the ability to use computer-based systems to undertake procurement
