- We are seeking a Deputy Head, HEMM Maintenance to join her team. As the Deputy Head, HEMM Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in the cement manufacturing industry, ensuring the effective maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
- You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring the efficient execution of the maintenance strategies.
- Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures, as well as the training and development of the maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance operations of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM)
- Optimize equipment performance by developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans
- Execute maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and plan equipment maintenance activities
- Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and standards
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Train and mentor the maintenance team to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 21 years’ experience in managing the maintenance and operations of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM)
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and industry standards
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance software systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry
