Summary
We are seeking a competent candidate for the position of Deputy Head of Academics to help manage our CBC School. As our institutions grow there is constant need to secure leadership that will help nurture our learners to excel academically and morally.
The position entails leadership and management of CBC curriculum development and implementation, teaching and learning across the levels of CBC – Preschool, CBC and Junior Secondary School.
KPIs Include:
- Management of teaching and non-teaching staff
- Achievement of education and academic excellence, learning resources allocation
- Induction of new students, child protection and safeguarding
- Student retention, discipline, mentorship and counseling programs
- Learner classroom attendance and assessment
- Professional development for staff
- Teaching/Non-teaching annual performance appraisal
- Timetabling and teacher workload management
- Extra-Curricular activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education
- Valid TSC certificate
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Head of School or Deputy Head in a CBC School
- Computer literate with experience in e-learning (added advantage)
- Vast knowledge of learning techniques and approaches
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor and support teachers
- Excellent leadership skills and self-drive
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
