Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements. Assist in analysing existing data flows, reports, and systems to identify gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise specifications.
2. Data Exploration & Validation
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to support requirements validation and stakeholder insights.
- Support profiling of datasets to assess data quality, completeness, and relevance.
- Assist in validating data against business rules to ensure accuracy and reliability.
3. Support for Reporting and Insights
- Support the preparation of dashboards, reports, and visualisations using tools such as Excel & Power BI.
- Help ensure business stakeholders understand the data outputs and are equipped to make informed decisions.
4. Documentation & Traceability
- Maintain a documentation repository for digital assets.
- Maintain detailed documentation of requirements. business rules, data flows, and mapping documents.
- Assist stakeholders with the building of business cases.
5. Testing & Implementation Support
- Assist in the user acceptance testing (UAT) process by developing test cases and validating data outputs.
- Help track and document testing issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.
- Support transition of use cases in Business As Usual (BAU) through facilitation of knowledge sharing sessions and user documentation.
6. Stakeholder Communication
- Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide status updates.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and feedback sessions as a representative of the IA Digital and Data Governance team.
- Collaborate with the IA Digital and Data Governance team, internal technical and data teams, and external delivery partners.
- Promote a digital-first culture within the function.
7. Continuous Learning & Development
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and methodologies.
- Participate in internal training and mentoring to build skills in business analysis and data modelling.
Experience / Requirements
- Solid knowledge of business analysis and data analysis concepts and principles
- Financial Services and/or Internal Audit experience preferred
- Proficiency in basic data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
