National Bank of Malawi plc, a leading financial institution in Malawi, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join its Digital Financial Services Team in the position of Digital Services Sales Officer tenable at Head Office in Blantyre.
Reporting to the Cards Acquiring and Merchant Services Manager, the successful candidate will among other duties be responsible for:
- Developing and submitting consolidated products marketing, sales, and recruitment activity masterplans for digital products and services
- Executing sales programmes and recruitment initiatives to retain and grow the portfolio for various digital products and services.
- Safeguarding customers’ value and interests to ensure constant growth in service volumes, uptake for the Bank’s various digital products and services.
- Diligently collecting and analyzing market, best practice for digital financial products and services
- Supervising and motivating a team of Digital Sales Assistants for business growth and retention.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance/ Business Administration/ Marketing and Sales/ Business Information Systems or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution.
- Five years’ experience in Banking, at least two of which should involve direct exposure to sales of digital financial service products.
- Exceptional understanding in a wide range of digital banking products and systems.
- Good understanding of card-based and digital financial products, transactions workflow, and how they interact with interface systems and core banking
- Interpersonal management skills and supervisory qualities with evidence of adaptability and a willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills with an aptitude in Business
Intelligence.
