Purpose of the role
The Director of Operations will be part of a project aimed at promoting access to clean cooking and improving the health status of vulnerable families by strengthening the local health system and implementing health promotion activities.
Key duties
- Ensuring procurement, storage and transportation of efficient stoves for domestic use and supervising their distribution
- Recruiting, selecting and training the distribution teams
- Supporting the logistical organization of the distribution and the contextual health and nutritional education activities

Requirements
- Proven professional experience in logistics (procurement, transport, distribution, supply chain) in fragile countries and/or low resource settings
- Good knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of Italian will be considered an asset
- Problem solving aptitude and organizational skills
- Dynamism, adaptability and flexibility
