Essential
· Significant experience of Supply Chain & Procurement at senior management level in an international NGO setting.
· Experience working in the international humanitarian sector with a strong track record overseeing supply chain and other humanitarian services both at Headquarter level and within Programme locations
· Relevant academic or professional qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or related discipline or equivalent professional experience at a senior management level to credibly lead this size and complexity of portfolio.
· Extensive experience in long-term strategy development and implementation at global level
· Experience in procurement, supply chain and fleet management.
· Demonstrated managerial skills and leadership experience.
· Strategic thinking and ability to contribute to the development of organisational strategy and provide insight and leadership
· Leadership and vision – comfortable setting a strategic vision and direction and leading a workforce on a change journey of improvement. Able to drive strategic improvements with tenacity and commitment.
· Change management, organisation design transformation expertise in large scale, decentralised organisations.
· Knowledge and understanding of key donor procurement requirements and the ability to interpret donor policies, procedures and requirements by organisational and programme context
Experience of designing, developing and documenting fit for purpose policies, standards, processes and systems and implementing these across a complex and international portfolio.
