Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome
Production, has an exciting, and challenging career opportunity at its
Mining Division based at Mutorashanga and Shurugwi (NETA).
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and
experienced individuals to fill the vacant post of Dispatch Clerk on
contract basis, renewable subject to performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
 Organizing of transport and logistics for the movement of chrome ore.
 Liaising with Zimra on handling and logging in of exports documentation.
 Recording weights for all dispatched and delivered ores and reconciliations.
 Conducting sampling of ores at mines and at dispatch.
 Communication and interaction with the Transporters on ores
movement
 Monitoring loading and dispatching of wagons and trucks.
 Data capturing of all information for ores production and ore stocks
movement at mines and sidings as well as reconciliation of the
movement of ores.
 Supervision of Personnel involved in loading and ores handling on site.
 Supervising wagons load adjustments.
 Perform month-end stock reconciliation.
 Production of Daily, Weekly and Monthly statistical reports.
 Participate, monitor and enforce adherence to the health, safety and
environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
 5 Ordinary level passes with English and Mathematics
 Minimum Educational Qualification- Diploma
 AYSCUDA trained and certified with a minimum of 2 years of
relevant work experience.
 A clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
 Extensive exposure to Excel, Microsoft Word.
 Good working knowledge of SAP (Inventory Module) or any similar ERP
system an added advantage.
 Working knowledge of safety management systems, with exposure
to the NOSA SHE system being an added advantage.
