The key purpose of this role is to ensure efficient Regional Distributors (RD) performance in a timely manner and as aligned to company goals.

- Optimize RD performance

- Optimize RD warehouse capacity and layout
- Determine and monitor RD optimal Fleet Configuration
- Maximize RD Fleet Availability/optimization
- Understand segmented customer needs and expectations
- Tailor RD services to customer segments
- Ensure RD competitive behavior
Resource for RD Effectiveness
- Advise on RD expenditure against budget and forecasts
- Comply with company credit policy
- Ensure distributors are equipped with the necessary sales skills to represent NBL through coaching individuals in the field and personally observing the performance of distributors.
- Drive DMS to enable line of sight and visibility of sales and distribution through route management.
- Drive Turn Around Time
- Stock Management (FIFO & LIFO optimized)
Execute RD Plan
- Support asset acquisition
- Support management of service levels
- Support selling function
- Support the management of third party Contractors
- Ensure RD stock availability
- Support assurance of product quality • Assist in the minimization of breakages losses and wastage
- Assist in the maintenance of the depots
- Manage the company image
Measure the RD Performance
- Analyze and respond to operational performance measures
- Manage key Financial Leverage
- Manage RD Debt position
- Adherence to set KPI
- Business management including; investments, cash-flows, diversions etc.
- Route Sales Effectiveness
- Implement new routes and close any geographical gaps
- RD Financial Audits
- Stocks/Sales/Brand targets
Decision Making Powers and Authorities
Recommend discipline of RD within down laid procedure(contractual obligations)
Recommendation for RD recruitment.
Statutory Requirements
Ensure all statutory requirements are met by the RD (VAT, Income Tax, PAYE, NSSF, Trading License, Incorporated Company, etc

Minimum requirements:
- Minimum Undergraduate Degree in Logistics, Finance
- Ideal Undergraduate Degree in Business related course
- Drivers License
- Minimum 3 years experience in an Operations / Finance environment at management level
- Level, ideally in FMCG or beer industry
- Ideal 2 years experience in Sales ,Finance and logistics
