The person will have strategic and operational leadership over the entire branch infrastructure and resources within their designated division. They will be responsible for ensuring sales targets are achieved, and that all sales channels are effectively and efficiently utilized to generate revenue. They will identify new business opportunities and drive market share. They will also ensure strong stakeholder relationship management and uphold the company brand and reputation within their division. This person will report to the Head of Commercial.
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Honor’s degree in business management or a related discipline.
- A post graduate qualification in a related field.
- Master’s degree in business management or related field is of advantage.
- Professional certification in sales, marketing or related fields is of advantage.
Experience & knowledge:
- Minimum of six years’ sound experience in sales, marketing, distribution and operations in the financial services sector, telecom industry or FMCG industry. Experience in the payroll lending sector is of advantage.
- At least four years’ experience in a managerial / strategic position in a fast
- paced business environment overseeing the sales function.
- Strong management skills are a core requirement.
- Experience in digitization to drive sales is an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills and high level of capacity to influence, engage and motivate a young and diverse team to inspire outstanding performance.
- Must be a strategic thinker and innovative.
