RESPONSIBILITIES
(a) Undertakes timely storage and retrieval of documents in order to provide information to users.
(b) Undertakes accurately indexing of files and archiving of records in order to create space and maintain institutional information.
(c) Undertakes timely, movement of files in order to facilitate action.
(d) Undertakes timely, documents reproduction duties in order to facilitate institutional programme implementation.
(e) Undertakes timely receipt and distribution of correspondence in order to facilitate easy flow of information.
(f) Undertakes effectively the securing of records in order to prevent unauthorised access.
(g) Undertakes regularly the appraisal of records in order to facilitate archiving and space creation.
(h) Undertakes timely, development of individual work plans in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
(a) School Certificate or its equivalent.
(b) Diploma in in Library and Information Studies OR related field from a recognised Higher Education Institution.
At least one (1) year relevant experience.
