Drive ICAP staff members safely to various destinations as required
• Ensure that yourself and passengers always use available seatbelts
• Ensure that the vehicle is ready for use (fueled, clean, always maintained)
• Discuss necessary fueling, maintenance and servicing activities with Logistic/transport officer
or other appropriate ICAP staff in good time
• Drive in a manner that respects the other road users and ensures maximum life span of the
vehicle
• Record details of each journey, any refueling and repairs or maintenance in the vehicle
logbook daily
• Ensure that the vehicle and its contents are kept secure (i.e., locked doors, closed windows)
• Ensure that the necessary documentation, in addition to emergency and repair equipment is
carried in the vehicles at all time
• Ensure that the assigned vehicle is kept in a good mechanical condition.
• Performs other related duties as required.
ICAP is looking for a candidate with the below required skills & experiences:
• Secondary/High school complete certificate.
• Basic mechanic skills or Certificate in automotive is preferred.
• Proficiency in Computer applications.
• A valid driver’s license and at least on five years of driving experience to perform the job safely.
• Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find delivery
locations.
• Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients
• Physical stamina and good body strength to lift luggage, packages, and objects, as well as be
able to load and unload them from their vehicle.
• INGO experience is preferred.
