Role
This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer located in Kampala. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, conducting electricity assessments, and developing power distribution plans. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with the GPI project team to ensure the delivery of quality services that are aligned with GPI’s vision and mission.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• With 6 Years of working experience
• Must be registered with the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA), with a Class C Permit
• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Power Systems
• Experience in Electrical Design and Power Distribution
• Ability to conduct electricity/solar power assessments and identify areas for improvement
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
