company safety standards, ensuring cleanliness and proper housekeeping of all electrical rooms
in your area of operation. Plan, review and optimize work execution for own labour, third party
and sub-contracted labour in your area of responsibility
Roles and responsibilities
Maintenance Operations
• Carryout all electrical motors rewinding, service and bearing replacement trouble shooting
of Electrical failures in the Plant and repair with high quality.
• Ensure proper analysis of equipment electrical motor failures & problems, recommending
best corrective actions.
• Performs trial runs of equipment after service the motor in the workshop activity.
• Ensure timely readiness to efficiently tackle emergencies or urgent breakdowns as
programmed with supervisors.
• Conduct 1st level inspection during short interval control process as assigned by supervisor
• Prepare spare motors list availability in the electrical workshop and update daily basis.
• Execute works according to preventive maintenance plans or scheduled corrective
maintenance actions as assigned by supervisor.
• Participate in development of execution Job Plans for all maintenance activities He/She is
involved in.
• Propose and execute cost reduction initiatives and in extension of electrical life of the plant
equipment.
• Cooperate with shift leaders in the execution of scheduled maintenance actions
Planning & Cost control
• Support the Electrical supervisor in the control of the maintenance budget.
Standards
• Ensure compliance with regulations, company goals, rules, local permits, policies and
procedures; optimize the internal processes and structures.
OH&S and Environment
• Ensure compliance with OH&S and environment policies, comply with all health, safety &
environment procedures to ensure zero harm.
Educational Requirements
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education / experience.
• 4-5 years’ experience dealing with Motor rewinding
• Experience in heavy industry experience preferred
• Experience applying FMEA techniques and knowledge of basic problem-solving tools
Other requirements:
• Knowledge of cement manufacturing process.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving skills.
