Install, repair, inspect and commission products and equipment of different kind at customer site or own premises. Report and document results after above actions. Responsible for plan, conduct and maintain tools and equipment for service work. Support the customer’s product/equipment/processes by suggesting possible improvements. Provide basic technical support to the sales team. Ability to produce positive results in sales-client interventions.

• Provide accurate information on request of customers, from a sound understanding of Machine, Manuals and Technical Information.
• Follow up Service Bulletin implementation during equipment audits.
• Carry out Customer Services Duties as required, Audits, PDI’S, Machine Assembly, Commissioning, Breakdown repairs Engine Diagnostics etc.
• Complete accurate Technical Reports on work carried out, Audit Reports, Customer Visit Reports.
• Discuss rectification of all discrepancies as identified by machine Audit Reports on issue to Customers and follow up implementation.
• Promote Company Quality Standards
• Promote Customer acceptance of OEM Products
• Assist in developing Customer Services Business
• Assist with Warranty investigations and Documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Tertiary Education preferable in Engineering field (Electrician)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years working experience in a Mining/Engineering environment.
