The job purposes for the Emergency Response Project Manager- ERPM is to continue the multi sector emergency response activities and be responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the ECHO funded life-saving project implemented in hard-to-reach areas of South Sudan following the pre-decided emergency triggers. The position will also develop the on-job capacity of the national staff working on the project.
Eligibility Criteria
- Relevant university degree or higher education preferable engineering degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience from working as a Project Manager in a humanitarian/recovery. context and specific experience in multi sector humanitarian response.
- Experience in protection mainstreaming.
- Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Technical expertise in Food Security and livelihood will advantageous.
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
- Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver’s license.
