Project Management & Solution Consulting
- Project lead on solution building leveraging global standards for enterprise customer communications and connectivity (Voice/SMS and Data/Digital) requirements in alignment with evolving MTNU EBU product offering.
- Create and drive detailed project plans in line with customer expectations, managing risk and dependencies, deliveries and external inputs
- Perform solution consultant expertise for respective customer verticals and market segments in alignment with global
- Produce financial analyses- (Derive Business cases and Bid Management and RFP) for the proposed Projects Technical Support & Coordination
- Provide Post-Sales Technical support to Enterprise customers for Service capacity growth planning & faults management to enhance Retention & Growth
- Developing customizes Solution & Technical Designs for easy & Complex solutions to Banks, Government. SME etc based on Customer requirements
- Liaison between the Engineering and Sales Departments to provide Account Managers with advance product information and system configuration information
- Account Management
- Develop Strategic accounts development Plans jointly with the respective Account managers that identify opportunities to drive sales of all MTN products and services
- Provide written technical responses to formal service request; (tenders/ sales proposals)-RFPs/BIDS
- Provide Pre-Sales Solution Design Support and Consulting to the Business Sales Team at Bidding and sales calls during the entire Sales Cycle
Product Development
- Continually evaluate and search for improvements to existing products according to changing customer needs
- Reviews adaptation of existing products for new applications or other customer markets
- Participation in UATS for new Products
Managed Services Liaison
- Undertake visits with Managed Service Partners and contractors and provide comprehensive feedback notes. customer profiles information and related visit checklist
- Joint Bids/RFPs responses with Managed Services Partners
Business Analysis
- Ensure adherence of customer service offering to current compliance standards
- Ensure adherence of customer service offering to performance Service Level Agreement standards.
- Monitoring, measuring, and providing feedback on process performance
Training and presentations\Expos
- Conduct regular trainings to the Sales force on all key products and solutions in order to enhance Sales product skills. Periodic Technical Briefs on New products /Technologies to enhance Product development, in-house Business teams training as well as Customer briefs
Supervisory/Leadership / Managerial Complexity
- Leading Supervising technical operational teams on project implementation activities and fault resolutions towards effective customer satisfaction and retention
- Training & development of Tier 1&2 supporting structures on MTN EBU operations including product offerings, policy. risk and revenue leakage awareness
- Strategize with the sales team to improve sales of all MTN products and services to the Enterprise Market
- Handling Customer\AM escalations on product offering shortcomings in alignment agreed SLA’s. Timely Escalations to respective Manager(s) for due resolution
Education
- Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, Engineering and any related field
- Preferred qualifications: CISSP, MCSE, CCNA or other Industry recognized certifications and experience
Work Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience, of which must have been in a fast-paced multinational company in a highly competitive industry
- Work experience in an ICT/Telecommunication Industry
- Must have successful track record of developing solutions in the telecommunications industry
- Knowledge of GSM/Fixed Network infrastructures, Data Services and Converged services
- Medium to High-level understanding of IT and Telecommunications-related systems, architecture and technology and the application of the latter to meet the unique business requirements of the telecommunications sector.
