Qualifications:

Applicants should be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering obtained from accredited institutions with two (2) years experience in radio and television electric maintenance, radio and television transmission and people management.

Duties

(a) Maintaining equipment for signal distribution;

(b) Installing new equipment and re-installation for signal distribution;

(c) Carrying out preventive maintenance practices;

(d) Monitoring signal quality and availability;

(e) Attending to transmitters and associated electrical equipment faults;

(f) Implementing all types of maintenance works of transmission equipment;

(g) Identifying critical spare parts of the transmission equipment;

(h) Ensuring smooth operation of transmission equipment;

(i) Ensuring proper use and sake keeping corporation tools used on maintenance;

(j) Recording on daily basis transmitter readings and parameters; and

(k) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Note: Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews
that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
