Reporting to the Coordinator – ERP, The Enterprise Systems Intern shall be responsible for supporting and training activities related to Enterprise systems and other business enabling applications, conduct requirements engineering, designing and implementation of business applications. Participate in ongoing projects involving an evaluation of different options for departmental systems to suite the different departmental requirements.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse software requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
- Conduct thorough testing, modifying, and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in AI and software development.
- Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies.
- Continuously monitor critical systems and maintain an uptime above 95%.
- Manage all enterprise systems software licensing renewals as and when required.
- Provide end user support for SharePoint online, manage SharePoint access, create SharePoint sites, design intuitive navigation, manage site storage, integrate SharePoint into Power Platform.
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines
- Develop and manage data architecture, including databases and data warehousing solutions
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Rich user interface development experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, JQuery, bootstrap etc.
- Experience with one or more database technologies (e.g. Microsoft SQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS), etc.
- Comfortable with developing MVC architecture-based code.
- Experience developing and working with REST APIs.
- Experience with Microsoft T-SQL.
- Experience with one or more Power Platform technologies (e.g. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Microsoft 365 fundamentals, knowledge of SharePoint online is an added advantage.
- Proficiency with source control and team collaboration tools (GitHub, Slack).
- Experience with data interchange formats such as XML or JSON.
- Networking fundamentals, prior working experience in network technologies and protocols will be a plus.
- Involvement in requirements gathering, development and operational stages of new projects.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
