Nyanza Cooperative Union 1984 LTD is a limited liability Secondary Cooperative Society with registration No. 4152 Dated 21.04.1984. It is registered under the Co-operative Societies Act No 6 of 2013. It is owned by 253 registered Cooperative Primary Societies located within Mwanza Region. It is a member of the National Apex Organization of the Co-operative movement in Tanzania, i.e. The Tanzania Federation of Co-operatives Limited (TFC). NCU (1984) LTD one of the largest Co-operative Unions in Tanzania.

Nyanza Cooperative Union invites dynamic, proactive, experienced and suitable qualified Tanzanians to fill three (3) vacancies; post of the Chief Internal Auditor (1 Position), Extension Officer (1 Position), and Information and Communication Technology Officer (1 Position)

Duties and Responsibilities
• Advising farmers, agricultural businesses, rural industries, government and other development partners on appropriate practices for agricultural production, processing and distribution of farm produce
• Facilitating farmers” group formation and advice in making better decisions increase agricultural production
• Capacity building of farmers’ groups to enable them make better decisions and access required products and services to increase agricultural production
• iv. Ensuring good relations/ communication between private sectors, government agencies and farmers
• Coordinating farmers’ field days by linking together different players for technology exhibition, technical and marketing information sharing
• Provide timely and accurate written and verbal reporting
• Contribute to project strategic planning and to well-written, focused project reports, annual implementation plans, success stories and other written products.

• Performing any other duties relevant to the scope of work that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in (B.Sc.) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agro business or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a related field or functions from a reputable organization.

REMUNERATION/ SALARY SCALE
• As Per NCU Salary Scale
