This position is in the Engineering Section of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Torit. The incumbent will report to the Field Engineer, Torit.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• High school diploma or High school certificate required.

Job – Specific Qualification:

• A valid Driving license is required. Solid computer skills, including full proficiency in various MS Office application (word, excel, PowerPoint) and other IT applications and office equipment technology is required. Relevant training in facility management is desirable.

Work Experience:

• At least three (3) years of experience in facilities management with a UN Agency or other international Organization is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to one (1) for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. Experience in operation of heavy machinery is required.

Languages:

• Fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of languages spoken in South Sudan is desirable.
