To provide to students counselling services on a wide range of issues relating to psychosocial, academic, vocational, job placement, reproductive health and safer sex practices.
To also organize counselling clinics with view to sensitize students experiencing various
academic, career and health related concerns.
Qualifications and experience required:
i. Must have a Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (50 Credits which must
include English Language
ii. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following from a reputable and accredited
University: Psychology, Social Work, or Guidance and Counselling
iii. Possession of a Master’s degree in any of the following from a reputable and
accredited University will be an added advantage: Psychology, Social Work or
Guidance and Counselling
iv. Must have at least three (3) years practical experience in counselling and guidance
v. Must have functional computer literacy skills
vi. Must have strong leadership skills in dealing with students
