Skills and Qualifications:
The Field Service Technician needs to be experienced with a number of technologies, responsible, and eager to learn:
- Hold a Technical Certificate or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic engineering or, manufacturing process control or related field;
- Minimum of two (2) years in digital circuitry and electronics, including measurement and assembly (basic);
- Minimum of two (2) years in Programming of circuit boards: uploading and testing software;
- Experience with technical support, either in a call-center or internal context;
- Excellent communication skills: able to diagnose and instruct;
- Highly organized and process-oriented;
- Thorough with great attention to detail;
- Excellent quality control skills for work done;
- Desire to develop as a technologist and learn the solar industry
- Quick, flexible learner that can acquire some of the necessary skills on the job.
