You will be responsible for :-
- Development & enablement of Business Strategy and finance functional strategies in partnership with MD and Exec respectively.
- Maximize value creation and efficiency of sales, marketing & supply programmes through effective decision support to the business.
- Ensure effective & efficient system infrastructure working with BIS.
- Ensure effective ways of working to maximize value through the supply chain.
- Build effective relationships with customers/distributors to enhance the RTM in partnership with demand and supply teams.
- Development & enablement of finance functional strategies in partnership with GCD and CLT. Development & enablement of business performance management & decision support.
- Embed all financial and audit controls are in place and lead the development & implementation of Governance for Diageo Uganda.
- Implement talent development strategies to build a healthy talent pipeline within the function.
To be successful in this role, you will need :-
Qualifications
1st Degree in a business-related field.
Qualified and Certified Accountant (CA)
MBA degree
Experience
Extensive business experience gained at a senior level in a multinational corporate environment, with proven capabilities in some of the following areas:
FMCG industry and related business issues such as brand management or brand financial management, production, logistics, risk management techniques, strategy development and execution, business consulting, information systems.
Experience in multicultural / multilingual environments
