Role Overview
We are looking for a Fullstack Developer Intern to join our tech team in Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and curious individual eager to grow in both frontend and backend development within a fast-paced, real-world environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in building, testing, and maintaining Dafric’s logistics platforms and internal tools
- Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and improve existing ones
- Write clean, maintainable code for both frontend and backend systems
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and documenting issues
- Participate in team discussions and sprint reviews
- Contribute to UI/UX improvement based on user feedback
Preferred Tech Stack
- Front end: Vue.js, TailwindCSS
- Back end: Laravel, NodeJS
- APIs: REST, GraphQL
Qualifications & Skills
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Hands-on experience (academic or personal projects) with both frontend and backend development
- Strong understanding of web fundamentals and modern development frameworks
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- Self-driven, curious, and open to learning in a fast-moving environment
- Preferred: Must be a Ugandan citizen
