Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Identify, design, and implement strategies and program activities to enhance women and youth integration through the reach, benefit, empower and transform approach and deepen inclusive market integration across selected value

Actively identify programmatic and operational gender-specific and youth-specific constraints faced by market participants, including access to resources, information, and markets.

Design and implement interventions and activities that address these constraints and promote the participation and economic empowerment of women, youth, and other marginalized groups within the market system.

Develop and deliver technical support, training and capacity building programs on gender equality and youth inclusion for private and public market actors, partners, and grantees.

Serve as an engagement manager for assigned grantees, subcontractors and/or consultants to ensure successful completion of activities.

Collaborate with program staff to integrate considerations for gender, youth, other marginalized groups into all aspects of program, intervention and grant design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Track and analyze gender and youth participation monitoring indicators to assess progress towards inclusivity objectives.

Analyze data and report on the impact of the program on women and youth.

Advocate for approaches and practices that promote a more inclusive and equitable market system.

Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including other USAID funded activities government agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector, to ensure a coordinated approach to gender and youth inclusion in the market system.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Master’s degree and 3 year of experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience working on donor funded projects, particularly USAID-projects,

Strong understanding of gender analysis frameworks and youth engagement methodologies.

Demonstrated experience and technical knowledge in Gender and Youth engagement and market systems development.

Demonstrated familiarity with current trends in private sector engagement and inclusive market systems in Ethiopia.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Verbal and written fluency in English

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to travel and work throughout Ethiopia in difficult terrain/conditions at
