Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for all general work from cleaning, removals, burials and other responsibilities. The incumbent will report directly to the Funeral Consultant.

• Onsite gravesite preparation without delaying funeral arrangements
• Assisting drivers with removals and burials.
• Monitoring of water, electricity and generator usages.
• Offloading and loading burial equipment/ materials within 1hr of arrival.
• Thorough cleaning of company vehicles within 20 minutes for a car, 2hrs for a bus.
• Understanding burial procedure to enable efficiency discharge of duties
• Cooking good food with available ingredients before meal breaks
• Maintain the general surrounding of the branch clean
• Ensure offices are kept clean at all times
• Good customer care at all times
• Conduct all funerals in a professional manner at all times.
• Assisting with Washing, dressing and embalming of deceased bodies
• Pitching tents.
• Any other duty as may be assigned.
