The Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) Limited was established under the Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) Act and the Petroleum (Refining, Conversion, Transmission and Midstream storage) Act, both of 2013 and incorporated under the Companies’ Act, 2012. It is a limited liability company wholly owned by the Government of Uganda.
The overall function of UNOC is to handle the State’s commercial interests in the Oil and Gas industry and ensure that the resource is exploited in a sustainable manner.
UNOC is offering Graduate Internship opportunities for a maximum of six (6) months – non-renewable contract to recent graduates interested in starting a career in an Oil and Gas industry.
QUALIFICATION/COURSE
Bachelor’s Degree(Hons) in Economics,Information Technology, Business Administration, Business
Studies or any other related field
Key Requirements
• Must provide a copy of University degree Transcript obtained from a recognized
University i.e. (Bachelor’s Degree).
• Must have a minimum of a 2nd class upper degree, with a minimum CGPA of 4.0.
• Must have scored a minimum of a Credit in Mathematics and English subjects at
Ordinary Level (O’ level).
• Must have graduated not more than three years from the time of applying for this
opportunity.
