The Graduate Trainee will undergo practical and structured hands-on training program intended to build technical and professional skills in various IT functions. The role will be engaged in both learning and practical support of IT activities in projects delivery, systems administration, networking, cyber security, data analytics, software development, and hardware support. The program is intended to prepare and assess the trainee readiness for future positions in IT department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Technical Training and Business Learning
   1. Attend and complete all scheduled technical trainings including taking and passing recommended professional exams
   2. Learn company processes, services, technologies, tools and systems used to support all company functions
   3. Participate in rotational assignments in all IT functions, such as IT Operations, Delivery, Cyber Security and Innovation
   4. Attain certification in at least two IT professional courses such as PMP, ITIL, Software Development, Systems Administration, Cyber Security, etc

1. IT operations
   1. Provide first-line technical support to all staff in resolution of hardware, software, network and security incidents
   2. Paticipate in installation, configuration and maintenance of all company IT systems
   3. Log all IT incidents reported by users, track and report closure or escalation of such incidents
   4. Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT systems and services
   5. Support installation, monitoring and maintenance of all company IT network infrastructure
   6. Support in maintenance of business continuity and availability of systems including backup, restore, software patching and cyber security checks

1. IT Delivery and Projects Management
   1. Participate in web, mobile and ad-hoc applications development, software coding, debugging and testing activities
   2. Support new systems development documentation and version control activities
   3. Conduct Business analysis and develop Terms of Reference for new business process automation initiatives
   4. Support development of data integrations, data transformation, data storage, and development data visualization, analytics and reporting initiatives
   5. Develop Artificial Intelligence solutions to support business process improvements

1. Cyber Security
   1. Monitor Security alerts and support the implementation of security policies across all cyber attack landscapes
   2. Help identify and report any software or hardware vulnerabilities
   3. Participate in Vulnerability assessments and penetration testing tasks
   4. Support preparation and execution of cyber security awareness campaigns and training
   5. Support security incidents investigations, root-cause analysis and reporting

1. Innovation and invention
   1. Participate in technology innovations, ideation and implementation of new ideas
   2. Develop new solutions geared towards 100% paperless organisation
   3. Participate in development of new ideas incubation, testing and change management to drive acceptance and adoption

1. Documentation and Reporting
   1. Prepare and keep updated technical documentations, and User guides
   2. Develop a knowledgebase on known incidents, trouble-shooting tips or guides and what-if scenerio analysis
   3. Develop AI tool for Search and Find information on corporate intranet
   4. Provide weekly and monthly Progress Reports to Supervisors on tasks and projects handled, challenges and resolutions
   5. Prepare Lessons Learnt documentation for every IT projects handled and keep a central storage of Projects Lessons Learnt.

Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong Academic Performance and willingness to learn
• Applicants must be fresh graduates who completed their degree within the last two (2) years
• Minimum CGPA of 3.6 and above (strict requirement).
• Basic knowledge of;
  • Operating Systems – Windows, Linux Ubuntu, etc
  • Programming Languages eg Java, Python, C#
  • Databases eg SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc
• Knowledge of Cyber Security principles.
